ꕤ detailed group order process:
joining a group order involves several stages, and i’ve outlined the process step-by-step to ensure clarity. please read this carefully before participating:
ꕤ taking claims, first payment:
- when i open a group order, i’ll post details on instagram, including items available, deadlines, and payment methods.
- to claim an item, please comment directly on the group order post. i do not accept claims through dms, as they are not always reliable and can occasionally lag or get lost. claims are usually first-come, first-served.
- allow dms in your settings or follow me for the duration of the group order (you can unfollow me after you receive your items). it is to ensure smooth communication throughout the process.
- please note that some spots may be canceled if a batch is not filled. in the past, i used to cover unclaimed spots myself, but this often left me with items i didn’t need or want, so i no longer do this regularly. i tend to cover some spots if i’m applying for a fancall or fansign event. thank you for your understanding!
- joining a group order knowing you cannot pay on time means that i may have to pay for your items. unfortunately, i cannot cover for anyone else’s items, which may lead to uneven sets — meaning some people might not get their desired member. please be considerate and think of others before committing to a group order!
- again, once you claim a spot, no backouts unless you find a replacement.
- it’s the joiner’s responsibility to keep track of their confirmed claims. since i host a large number of events, it’s impossible for me to remember every single claim for every joiner.
i use notion to carefully record everyone’s claims, but answering questions like, “hi, i don’t remember what i claimed,” can be challenging — especially if your claims are spread across multiple pages. to avoid confusion, i recommend noting down your claims as soon as they’re confirmed. this helps both of us stay organised!
- payment instructions will be shared in the group chat created for the specific group order. if you miss any payment deadlines (initial/ems+customs/shipping), your items will be put up for reclaim or sale without any compensation or refund unless you communicate with me in advance.
- if you fail to pay the initial amount by the deadline, your claim will be put up for reclaim immediately. you will be added to the DWAYOR list and potentially blacklisted from joining any of my future GOs.
- the purchase proof will be sent in the respective group chat once everything is secured. please note that many of the items are pre-order, which means it may take a few weeks to several months for the store to even begin shipping our order. when joining my group order, please be mindful of the shipping start date, as this can affect the overall timeline for receiving your items.
ꕤ arriving at warehouse:
- once the store ships our order, it will first arrive at my proxy warehouse (korean, chinese or japanese, depending on the store).
- no message = no any new update.
- a photo proof of items arriving at the warehouse will be provided in the group chat whenever possible.
- i use various proxies across different countries (korea, japan, china), depending on the specific group order, event needs, or store details. this means that sometimes i need to wait for all items from a group order to arrive at the same proxy before proceeding.
- for korean orders, i consolidate all boxes from various proxies (such as those used for pop-up stores, offline fansigns, or inclusion-only services) to my main korean address. this ensures that all items for the group order are combined into one large shipment. it also helps save on ems and customs costs but may extend the waiting time. please be mindful of this when joining!
- if the store sends our order incorrectly, i will immediately reach out to them to request a correction or the missing items. however, if the store refuses to offer a replacement, i will not be able to provide a refund unless i receive one from the store. in such cases, i will do my best to offer alternative items, such as photocards from different events, if available. please understand that mistakes from stores are sometimes out of my control and my ability to resolve these situations depends on the store's response and policies.
